Citizens Start Off Season Slow

Rash of game cancelations hurts teams fitness

Updated Monday June 9, 2014 by Kyle Deroo.

With four weeks gone in the season and only two games being allowed to be played, teams are searching to find their fitness.  With both games they've played being decided by one goal, TCFC are one of those teams that are struggling early on with their fitness.

When asked about his teams fitness levels, team manager Derek Nord mumbled something about  "blah, blah, blah, new baby, no sleep." And declined further comment after slouching over on the table and sleeping for the rest of the interview.  When pressed for further comment, team Director of Operations, Kyle DeRoo, was able to comment further.

"We brought in a lot of new players to help the cause this offseason.  So far there's still some gelling and formation work that needs to be ironed out, but I have confidence in the squad  that we have. Of course the inability to offload problem players (Scottish International Garrett Robertson) and the legal troubles of others (England on again/ off again defender Daniel Stockton whose arrest for sodomozation of an Arsene Wenger poster was top news this week) have caused for some internal strife."

With some big upcoming matches in the league coming up, and sitting bottom in the table, let's hope they figure it out soon!
